Visiting Card Design
Business Card Designer in Udaipur
A business card is often the only piece of your brand a customer takes home. We design visiting cards that feel considered, read easily and match your logo.

Visiting card design as part of your brand
A card designed in isolation often looks like it belongs to a different company. We start from your logo, colours and typefaces, then decide how the card should feel in the hand. A heritage hotel might suit a textured, cream stock with a gold detail; an engineering firm might want something crisp and direct.
If you do not yet have a logo, we usually recommend designing it first. The card will look stronger, and you will not need to reprint later. Cards printed with a temporary logo tend to stay in circulation for years, long after the business has moved on to a better identity, which sends mixed signals to customers.
Layout and typography on a small canvas
A standard Indian visiting card is about 3.5 by 2 inches. Fitting a name, title, two phone numbers, email, website, address and a logo into that space without clutter takes discipline. We decide what matters most, give it room, and use type sizes that remain readable for older customers too.
The back of the card is valuable space. It can carry a QR code, a map pin, a list of services or simply a confident, uncluttered logo. We decide based on how you hand out cards. A sales team at trade fairs needs services listed; a boutique hotel may prefer quiet elegance with just the logo.
- Clear hierarchy for name, role and contact details
- Readable minimum type sizes for print
- Hindi, English or bilingual layouts
- QR codes for WhatsApp, maps or websites
- Consistent design across all team members' cards
Finishes and special effects for premium cards
Finishes can make a card memorable when used with restraint. Spot UV can highlight a logo, foil adds warmth to hospitality and jewellery brands, and a heavier matte stock feels substantial. We design with the finish in mind, preparing separate layers for foil or UV so the printer knows exactly what to apply.
We also design matching stationery, such as letterheads, envelopes and email signatures, so every piece of your paperwork belongs together. Consistency across these small pieces is what makes a business look established, especially to new clients meeting you for the first time and forming quick impressions. One designer handling all of it keeps the details aligned.

FAQ
Questions people ask
What is the standard visiting card size in India?
Most Indian visiting cards are 3.5 by 2 inches, roughly 89 by 51 millimetres. Some printers use slightly different sizes, and square or rounded-corner cards are also possible. We confirm the exact dimensions with your printer and set up bleed and safe margins accordingly.
What should a business card include?
At minimum, your name, role, business name, one phone number and either an email or website. Many Udaipur businesses also add a WhatsApp number and address. Avoid listing everything; a QR code on the back can link to your full details, location or services.
Which finishes work best for premium visiting cards?
Matte lamination with spot UV on the logo is a popular, understated choice. Gold or rose-gold foil suits hotels, jewellers and wedding planners. Embossing or letterpress adds texture. We recommend one finish used well rather than several competing ones. Restraint usually looks more premium.
Can you design cards for my whole team?
Yes. We create a master layout and then prepare individual versions for each team member, keeping fonts, spacing and alignment identical. When new staff join, adding their card is quick. There is no need to redesign anything; we simply add their details to the master file and send print-ready output.
